Temperate Gauge for 04 Coupe

I went to Costco today with my 04 coupe and everything was fine. It's about a 10 min drive on the freeway and another 10 local. After I got home, I noticed the meter on the temperate gauge in my car is about 4 bars away from the peek. This has never happened before, does anyone have any feedback to this issue?

Your cars temperature was high. I think when it cools down the needle would return to the C area.

It never happened before, and it seemed very out of the blue because I drove it just like how I did before. Should I just take it to the dealer and have them take a look at it? And if this happens while I'm driving, should I pull over?

Check your radiator, coolant and your fans. When fans and/or radiator aren't working a car's engine can heat up extremely quickly. I was in a front-end collision with my old prelude and everything was fine except for the fans and radiator. Within a few minutes of driving in 75 degree weather the engine temp would get really high really quickly.

Oh and I only drove it out of necessity until I got it to the repair shop!
