I just got quoted today for the 30k service and it was $380 at the place I went to. They charge $180 if the belts need to be replaced.... Looks like I am going to be doing that myself.

A service is a lot more than just a couple fluid changes. Plus I get a loaner everytime, and they will scour through the entire car hoping they find something to replace under warranty. This is good for them and me. I would say having an infiniti certified technician looking over the car would beat out any regular infinti owner doing their SERVICE. I DO my own cabin filter, engine oil and filter, tire rotation, brakes, air filter etc... However, I have the dealership perform the trans flush, coolant flush and AWD service. I also have them do the general inspection. Becuase they know what to look for and what usually fails, leaks, breaks or wears. If you wanted to skip service intervals why did you buy an infiniti. Take care of it.

Is that 30K service tranny fluid change for manuals only or autos too? Those prices do seem a little high considering they don't change the belts. Although the auto tranny fluid is high dollar, the diff fluid they are probably pumping out of a big barrel of bulk bought crap. I worked at a Toyota dealership as me how I know this. Ohh, the oil will also be bulk crap.
