anbody hear this sound...
I'm getting this loud squeeky sound kinda like a loose bearing from the engine bay when the car is cold and the a/c is on. I thought it was the fans but I unplugged them and the sound is still there. The sound eventually goes away once the car is warmed up. Can a loose belt make a sound like that??

The timing chain has an oil pressure activated tensioner I believe, at least they used it on the 3.0L engine. If the oil line to it gets clogged or oil blows by it's seal, it doesn't have enough pressure to keep the timing chain tight and it may rub on the timing cover. You can pinpoint the location of the noise by use of mechanic's stethoscope.

I think I have the same problem. I noticed my oil pressure sensor light turned on and then I heard some clicking noise come from my engine (seems like my timing chain is hitting something). I checked my oil level and it is fine.
Is this an easy fix if I take it to Infiniti or something that I should just wait for couple of days?
I just installed a 350z midpipe on my 03 sedan as well.

Did yours go away ?
