the gains are minimal for the Mrev2 on a non-rev up engine. It's noted on M/D's website as well. I think the HP gains are 1-2 more than if you installed the spacer alone.

Amoreno35,

Combining a spacer with a MREV2 on a non-revup engine doesn't do much more than the spacer alone. Testing shows only about 4-6 HP more in the midrange.

But, you only have the MREV2 so that's a good mod. On a non-revup engine it makes gains very much like that of the spacer but with a little more TQ.

You are good to go with what you have.

Tony

Here's one of the dyno plots of the different combinations.
I made this before it was named MREV2 so I just called it manifold machining process (mmp).

But at least it shows the differences in detail.

Sorry about that. I didn't know membership was needed to view it.
These dynos were done immediatly after a tune so the engine was running healthy at the time of testing.

so using the mrev2 with the spacer on the 04 does increase the hp/tq alittle but not alot. but hey every little bit helps and adds up! correct my if im wrong..but i have the spacer..im putting HFC in and i wanna change the manifold. is this just a waste of money or will i gain anything with both the spacer and manifold combo..from those graphs i would say yes.

You should gain what is shown in the plot. +/- some amount of variance that happens with every vehicle.

ofcourse. but thats cool that a nonrevup will gain something, instead of nothing or losing power after installing one. keep up the GREAT work!
