did anyone have a problem taking the crush washer out of the oil pan screw? i changed my oil about 3 times before and i finally wanted to change it out but it couldnt come out. i sat there for about 15 min but it seemed like it was stuck or something. i just ended up screwing it in.

also if i put the new one in, is there a certain side it goes on, or just any side???

Sometimes I've had to use needlenose pliers to get mine off.

There's no particular side the new one goes on.

Just put a flat head screwdriver on the edge of it, and tap the screwdriver with another one or a wrench...

Works every time.

i think in the manual it shows the flared end of the crush washer goes on the flat part of the bolt head.

 

What size is the crush washer? I had some available in the garage but they were the wrong size so i had to use the one that was already there.
