I recently installed some Fast Intentions test pipes on my G37 and am looking for a way to get my check engine light to turn off. If I could get some guidance I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

 

i think a ecu reset will turn off your sel. if not, take it to autozone to pull the code and have the light reset.

 

Breaking Federal Law by violating Federal Clean Air Act regarding emission tampering use to be easier with antifoulers fooling the ecu. Recently the ecu have gotten smarter in catching these felons or at least making their life more difficult.

Temporarily turning off MIL, just means the ecu will show not ready for testing.

 

With test pipes, non-foulers are your only chance of keeping that light off. But as Q45tech stated, it may not work with newer ECUs. Resetting the ECU won't make it go away either. That's one of the issues people face when using test pipes.

 

The non-foulers! that o2 bung thing i guess i dont know, i just spoke to the people that installed a while back and there was no cel light after, then again I have a 03.

 

When I first installed my test pipes on my G37 the light stayed off for about 20 mins then it came on and I tried reseting and it will go away for a little then come back on. Where can I get non-foulers? Also going to autozone and having them pull the code will that get rid of it?

 

can I get O2 sims or O2 deletes and fix this problem? Also can I get my ECU reflashed and not have that code come back on?

 

anyone know anythign else about this??? antifowlers dont work for me
