You use the T56 Chebby tranny. I think the rearend would be okay. But a better/high locking LSD would be in order.

The sedan engine bay is smaller than the 350z and G coupe?

Why would it be? "Might" be a touch shorter but I doubt it matters judging by how low it sits in that Z

the 6mt wouldn't be used...you'd have to use the T56 transmission...which can handle well over 500hp (with a nice clutch)

T56's are used in Firebirds, Camaros, Corvettes and Vipers.

If that's true than my sedan is a candidate for it.

The wiring harness should be interesting.

yeah, it's the wiring that's the hassle. I've asked Noah this exact question about 5 times and it gets ignored. I don't think he knows and I don't think Hinson got it squared away. They got the car running but it was for the SEMA show. You could just run the LS ecu to get the car running but how it interfaces with the G's guages etc.. is another story.

nice! I'll be anxiously waiting on an LSX swap kit. One of my best friends owns a corvette shop. Setting me up with an LS7 would be no prob...something like $10k because we were thinking about doing an LSX swap as well. Definetly cheaper than going TT + Bulletproof'ed VQ.

That would be all different kinds of badass.

If my motor starts burning oil and craps out, I'd like to take that route if possible .
Why is this always brought up. The V8 swap has been done time and time again. Also, check out Performance Factor's Convertable V8 G35

would a dual ecu setup be possible in this situation? vss, instrumentation controls, etc run off a powered g35 ecu, and run the ls1 ecu for engine needs....just a thought as i know this used to be done in certian SR/240sx swaps before a/c had been figured out...just a thought.

oh and hi, 1st post!
