Stillen Radiator

Does anyone have one of these yet? I need a new radiator and so far I only know Stillen as a drop in for the G. If no one has it, does anyone know the specs on it?

I'll type out what it says in the catalog for you...if you don't have it.

"Our 2 row, 100% aluminum, Deep Drawn Tank construction is stringer and ligher than conventional welded box tank radiators. They also allow for better air flow and drop in fit....blah blah Stillen...blah blah...highest standards.....parts will fit exactly the same as OEM....even though it is 1" thicker than the OE unit. No need to .....blah blah...drill..blah stretch hoses...bleh bleh. Drop it in, bolt it down, hook it up! Provides up to 50% better cooling with the 2 row cores.....Bleh blah.....intergrated transmission cooler ...available for g35...blah blah and other cars that don't matter....

Thats exactly what it says in the catalog.

Who makes a FAT one for us that doesn't require any modding?

PWR has a radiator specifically for the G (not the same model number for the z at least). But I don't know if you can fit it with your pipes. Maybe need really slim fans might work. Ask a tuner who knows more about it.

I know about the PWR, but someone here got it and I remember it still needed a bunch of work and was a bitch. No aftermarket radiator will work with my piping, I will need new fans.

I want something thats the size of the fat koyo that will just drop in and not take 3486484351 hours to get in.

I bought mine used from rookie. He purchased another one brand new from GTM. It was a little over $600 with local pick-up.

Always remember that coolant volume is more important for short term control than radiator. Once the coolant overheats it takes many passes thru the rad to drop the temperature.

Instead of specing btu/hr at x airflow and temperature, they use "up to 50% better performance"........... where on the moon.

If a rad is a drop in [same area] except thicker, you are luckily to get 3-6F improvement under easy conditions when stressed 3F is great.
