Help: my 03 coupe is knocking

ok i got an update the knocking is coming from the rear of the engine and kinda more towerds the driver side and it knocks 3 times a second

That doesn't sound good, sounds like a bearing/rod.

Warantee is expired past 5 years/70000, so unless you bought an extended...............

yeah luckly i was smart and got that i guess all take it to the dealer but it is coverd as long as i got the extended warrenty right

If you have all the service records and take it in with enough oil in the motor, I don't see how they could deny coverage.

update:so i took my G in this moringat 7:30am and by 11:00am they called that it was ready and everythign was fine, that they did a full diagnostic test on the engine and what they came up with was spark knock wich is caused by the octain or quality of gas i have never put anything but 91 octain form chevron, so know they told me to try other brands of gas and see if the problem continues and if it dose to take it back to them so well see im allmost down with the tank i have know any suggestions on gas brands i should try?

yeah i have a costco membership im gonna try that which is giant brand and im gonna try shell as well, all try two tanks of gas at each one and see it it keeps knockin lol

yeah so now i can see about getting a brembo kit for my car or springs since i dnt have to spend any money fixing it lol
