HP Difference in MT and AT

The “rev-up” wasn’t even in production till 2005 model.
The OP was asking about the difference between MT and AT… someone posted that the difference is MT is rev-up… this is not the case.
Can I be any more clear? – not trying to be rude, but I really didn’t think it was this complicated.

oh and you forgot to put the word 'not' in front of 'saying', that's why I was confused.

NONE of the MT equipped cars are non-revups.
I'm not a grammar major and didn’t think it (being a grammar major) would be necessary to make the point that the difference between MT and AT is not rev up.
That’s the point I was trying to make...
However, if I meant no MT is rev-up I would have said that... how did this get so side-tracked anyway?...
OP - there is no difference between engines in MT from AT unless one is an HR and one is DE or one is rev-up and one is non rev-up... in those cases the transmission still wont matter as far as crank HP...
IOW, an AT with revup is same HP as an MT with rev-up... same with non-rev-up and same with HR...
HP and TRQ to the wheels on the other hand will vary due to drive train loss... but I'm sure you know this.
There have been indications that the ECU is programmed a bit different AT vs MT (as OEM), especially as it pertains to sedan vs coupe... but that goes out the window with a tune anyway...

I found AT cars to be sluggish and a little more expensive to buy when new.
However when I was looking to buy my G, we(me and my brother) test drove 3 different AT's and my bro was like its OK. He wasn't very thrilled about the G.
Then I test drove and bought a 6MT and had him drive it one night and he could not believe the difference. Now he likes the G but he doesn't like the price tag that come with the vehicle.
MT is way more fun to drive compared to AT.
I was reading some tests for the new GTR, and the gear shifts in the gearbox(AT for GTR) is around .3 secs or something like that, which will beat manual shift any day.

So is it my understand that the 05-06 6MT are all "rev-up" engines but the 04-06 AT are all the same non "rev-up". Why use 2 different engines in the production line... Looking to get a sedan for the fam. Tired of changing gears in my POS Sentra since mainly do city driving but like the thought of a better performing car out of the box with the MT based cars
