I love the product i have it in my 2003 g35. I loose the lag. The rpm just climbs faster. I went into the store, they install it telling me nothing and after i went for a quick test drive they ask me if i saw a difference. And i saw a big difference and i bought it.

 

I've got this on my Nissan Maxima and I love it. Makes heel toe driving so much easier in this car because I have small feet. Remaps the throttle for quicker response.

Accomplishes the same thing with a different method... from everything I've been able to determine about SB, it quickens the response of accelerator... Orisis allows for variable percentage of throttle plate opening to accelerator pedal depressing... if you want the throttle plate to open 30% more when pressing accelerator a certain distance, it’s done. I'm quite certain TS can do similar.

That is what I read as well. Basically it quickens the response of the pedal movement. The ratio appears to be in most cases about 1.3 times. That is if you take the pedal to 1/2 throttle it is now at .65 throttle. If one considers how fast you can push the throttle from what I calculate you may save from 0-100 throttle .05 seconds.

The only possible acceleration improvement etc. would be if the stock throttle doesn't take the system to 100% and the SB does.

There are a couple of other alternatives that I think may actually have some use as you can change the sensitivity of the throttle so you can more easily go for economy, etc., but in the end you are not going to win any more races, gain hp, over the stock setup no matter how much may feel like you will, that is unless the .05 seconds happens to come into play.

When you think of it, it is not much different than if you put a wedge in front of your pedal to change the angle.

One thing to consider is that the device would be in both directions. If your response takes .05 seconds less time to go to full throttle, then the way it functions means it will take .05 seconds longer to get off the throttle.

 

Well for older G35 autos, it might also help with the pesky torque management that Infinti overdid on our early versions. It always created a big lag just off idle.

plenum mods helped but I just got done putting in the F-Spec flash from TS. And the annoying low end lag is greatly if not almost 100% eliminated.

This thing is what? $300? I was able to get in the TS dyno meet deal prices and got the F-spec for $425+shipping.

So for an extra $125+shipping, you get a/f, ign, TB 100%, 500 rpm redline increase and adjustments for any mods.

TS could be receptive to offer their dyno day pricing for a select few but I dunno

Just installed one of these in my 2007 6MT coupe. Pretty much as advertised. If I were to compare it to breasts I'd say they're no bigger but quite a bit perkier. Overall I'm impressed.

 

Do you know what the exact model # is?

Finding parts for the '07 Couple is such a pain because the sedan was restyled in '07 and the coupe wasn't until '08.
