Dyno Charts

Search for Grounding Kits and/or Dyno Charts on my350z.com. There are several posts where people have had there cars dyno'd with and without the grounding kit.

The performance increase is in accordance with the charts from the Import Tuner article. Basically just a couple of hp. The main selling factor for the grounding kit is its ability to smooth out the idle and acceleration. All the kit is doing is cleaning up the signal to the ECU, allowing it to perform more efficiently.

Holy [censored]! Those dyno charts show a massive difference in the Max and RX7 engines. I'm curious as to what it does for ours?

Re: Custom G35C Engine Grounding/Earthing Kit

The 5- wire kit has shown to have dramatic effects on smoothness and some nice changes in engine response. The extra 2 wires are more subtle in effect, benefiting automatic tranny response somewhat. I suspect the more mods to your car, the more noticeable the benefits might be. Best bang for the buck is the 5, but most with auto trannies do the full 7 and are pleased with the overall results.

InSaNeAmine – Freebee give-aways

InSaNeAmine – Freebee give-aways

I have a few give-aways for you guys/gals if you want them:

1. Up for grabs is a brand spanking new 5 wire light purple grounding kit that has been sitting on my floor for several months and I want it to leave. It was the last of the roll.

2. Next; a 6 wire SOLID RED grounding kit (used by me). I decided to go back to the clear red “candy cane” look.

3. Last but, not least – since I did the Borla give-away last year for the folks who helped me get started at my350z; I wanted to offer something else up to everyone.

Any and all purchases from the beginning of the year until 6/30/04 will be entered into a drawing to receive their choice of CAIs – Injen or AEM!!!

Thanks for another wonderful year – I love you guys/gals, thank you, thank you, thank you!

Re: Gone

The 7 wire setup is just an addition of 2 wires.
One goes from the front of the engine to the body panel on driver's side (wire #6)
Wire #7 goes from the back of the plenum down to the gear box (for AT models only).

Since mine is a 6MT, I have only 6 wires.
Here is my setup...

04 6MTC DG/G/Prm/NAV/C.Crnrs/C.Br/A.ped/Polk/PIAA/Grnd.Kit/Rebadged/JWT Pop Charger/Z-Tube/Spl.Grds
