VR38DETT G35 Swap

Now that the GT-R is finally here in America at least, do you think that it would be possible to do a VR38DETT swap in place of the old VQ? I would imagine the price would be insane to the point that you might as well buy a GT-R but that would be very interesting to see. Sorry if I got your hopes up if you thought I was going to actually do it though, I sure would be pissed.

The AWD might be the only problem. Not sure how the motor would mount.

I'm sure it would be astronomical being that the car is new and that every VR38DETT is built by hand by just one guy

weight distibution would be out-a-wack... the cost to modify everything to make it work would be futile - you might as well buy a GTR.

Edit: I did forget the phantasmagorical factor: rookie.

He is probably already planning this mod

I doubt it'd be very feasible. The new engine is specifically mated to Nissan's dual clutch transmission and also drives 4 wheels. Even if you did get an engine, good luck custom jobbing and appropriate transmission to handle it as well as make it RWD only.

Why not just buy a GTR? It would probably cost around that much to do it all...
