Cleaned TB..Now the car heaves

Hey all,
Wondering what could be wrong. I cleaned my throttle body the other day. I disconected the sensor input and the Neg- battery before cleaning. Then cleaned out the TB...and yes I did open the move the flap when cleaning.

Usually when you let off the gas the car pulls back a bit...now that heave is a lot more prominent and it really lurches. The lurch is delayed though...you let off the gas, wait 2 sec's then the lurch comes in. I also noticed ( but i think it is gone now) that the RPM increase a bit when I push in the clutch???

Any suggestions?

Study synchronous electric motors and hysteresis to understand how you screwed it up.

If members would just disco battery before fiddling with sensor.

confirm the CEL actually blinks and then stays solid when you are doing the re-learn. Otherwise whatever you're doing is ineffective.

i recommend going and having the dealer do an IAVL reprogram which is idle air volume learn. and it should solve your problem unless you need a new throttle body assy, now as far as i know you can get a reman from the dealer for around 140 bucks and then you have a warranty with it as well

I think that is not necessary as the same procedure is outlined in the FSM and can be performed at home for free without any equipment.
