Spacers?!?!?!?

The 5/16 spacer seems to be pretty popular, is there a reason why you all are not getting the 1\2 inch...is it money or is it worse?
please clarify

5/16 spacer gives you an even balance of gains in the low end and top end where the 1/2 spacer gives more top end gains and less low end.

search next time.

precisely, as well as it allows you to keep the engine cover if you want...

Bigger the better, just 1\2 on up you cannot use the engine cover... To hell with the engine cover; who is looking anyway? Go for the 1\2 or 5\8 and put a big smile on your face; that looks better than the engine cover any day

There are plenty of threads on this topic. Try searching, or if that's too time consuming, go to the Intake/Exhaust section of the Engine/Drivetrain forum.

Research; Bigger is better! The only reason to not go with the larger spacer is clearance issues with the engine cover! BUT as an American you have the constitutional right of choosing the smaller spacer (with less gains)... Hey it's all relative! It's really about what you want... I started with 5\16... I love the 5\8!

The majority of people that know the answer to your question know because they educated themselves.

According to Tony himself, the half inch produces a little more peak power, but the average power is greater with the 5/16.

Trey....who wants to be average? My old pappy told me, "you never want to be average, stand up and be recognized!" I've had my MD 1/2" spacer for
almost three years and sure wouldn't settle for less. Yes, my engine cover is
hiding in my garage but that gave me the opportunity to come up with a
custom cover that matches the theme of my car....Twilight Blue & Clean!
