having car trouble w/ steering
similar slipping out
im having the same issue! i just had to get new REAR tires, and now when im going on turns myy tires are sliding out! it SO annoying. So do i have to turn off the VDC??? here are my tires: michellins sport pilot 225/45/18
Also, i have a slight RIGHT pull, so tomorrow, i am getting an alignment as well, AND what tire pressure should i be at for GOOD handling? i am at 31 PSI in the front and 33PSI in the rear. im in San Diego- Thanks for the feedback
p.s. i had my car running FLAWLESS before i needed to new rear tires, i didnt know these G's were that sensitive damnit!!!

the only problem with runin new tires on the back and old 1s on the front is the fronts will be smaller since they are worn. so vdc reads that those wheels are spining faster than the rear.. aka it sees slipping. just like if u put 13inch funny wheels in front and huge mudders in the back. but if your front tires are not that worn sumthing like 4-5+/32s left it shouldnt b a prob. if you recently hit a curb or a pot hole and trough your alignment off 1 wheel can b spining at a different rate to the others on a long turn it will b draging slightly. and you might have to reset steering angle sensor.
i would do this
#1 check front tires for excessive wear.
#2 check alignment.
#3 reset steering angle postion. Pm for info on this or serach, if all else fails.
#4 slow down on turns? maybe you really are letting the inside tire slip who knows get that new LSD you always wanted

Thanks for the input! so far, i have
1: checked the tires- the are ok on wear (so far - prob. like 6 more months left on them) and air pressure is at 35 PSI all around
2: Just paid 80$ to get an alignment (and toe was off slightly, and it STILL drifts to the right )
3: how do i do this?
4: Maybe your right
