Lyndon I agree with you except the headers, yes the price of install is where it deters most people away, but I gained around 15hp from freeing up the flow, coupled with test pipes and exhaust.

I remember when i first drove the 335 a year ago before my tune i was shocked how it pulled. I drove one recently and did not have that "WOW" feeling anymore.
I also drove a 04 6mt stock sedan 2 weeks ago and it is amazing how 20-25 hp can change the whole car the way it pulls. The stock sedan felt like it did not wanna go compared to my car.

does anyone know a ball park number on labor cost for changing a final gear? And since I have a 03, I guess I will need kit 1 + 2 as the ordering site stated? Just wondering...

How many miles do you have? Kit 2 has everything you need if you have high miles.

It costed me 590 to get installed. Was quoted 480 but since my G was new it took 1 extra hour of labor to get the bearings off and on.

get either the nismo or the central 20 3.9 gears.. those are THE BEST n/a mod you can do for performance.

fvck motordyne

fvck the z tube.

nothing n/a can touch nismo or central 20 gears.

That's a pretty ignorant statement considering that Motordyne has one of the best bang for your buck NA mods

I agree that gears are a great modification though.

Easy to calculate how much a gear ratio change helps or hurts. Roughly the cube root of the ratio of change. 15% higher numerical gear is ~ 2.3% +-0.2 change in acceleration.

Where gear shifts are necessary don't forget to add the extra shift time lost acceleration.

Same with raising rev limit if you avoid a shift you gain that wasted time.
