didn't it come with directions?

It's a fairly straight forward installation.

-Remove existing bolts that attach upper plenum to lower plenum (6 on top of the plenum and a handful around the perimeter of plenum)

-remove upper plenum and set aside (careful about the TB attachments). I wrapped a bungy cord around the lower part of the plenum and attached it to the hood to hold it up.

-remove gasket

-install spacer, not a bad idea to coat the new gaskets with a thin layer of oil.

-reposition upper plenum

-LOOSELY install bolts

-torque down to recommended specs.

You're going to be happy with the purchase.

If you have a Revup engine you should do the MREV at the same time while it's apart.

that's cool, we all have to start somewhere. Maybe you should let someone else install it, but stay with them and watch/help as much as you can. Labor = $$$$$$$$ you could be using for other mods!

you can do it yourself bro. I got mine yest and i was afraid to install it and **** anything up but it came out good bro. you don't really need to torque wrench. but you can rent one for auto zone or pepboys. Sears sells them too.

The MREV is the lower plenum. It's what your spacer will be mounted on top of.

The only thing I can think of is rechecking that all the bolts are torqued to spec on the spacer (possible vaccuum leak?)...
But if it was running fine for months...????
The next thing would be a Throttle body issue, but that usually caused high idle...either way I would to the relearns on the back of the motordyne instructions for Idle air/ TB relearn/ and Ecu Reset.

You may want to refer to https://g35driver.com/forums/engine-...ne-spacer.html ... he lists a number of post-installation resets ... I also read another post where someone found an air leak that caused his rough idle
