You said you changed your own oil every 3K...right? Why didn't you this time?

my car went in for tranny work just under 70k. and they were not happy because it was just under warranty, since they did the work i wanted to build a relationship with them so i had them do my oil change, and now this. the car was driven soft because it was a new tranny i hardly went past 4k rpm. i am still waiting for infiniti of north america to contact me back since everytime i call they are out to meetings. they are giving me the run around. infiniti of masssapequa sucks.

What am I missing the engine warranty is 70k yet you say you have 74k on vehicle and are expecting warranty? Did you pay for 100k extended warranty?

i understand my warranty is over, but this was not something caused by me. it was an error by one of the mechanics at infiniti. why should i pay them anything knowing it was neglagence by them. i really believe that they did not put enough oil in my car. trust me when i did my own oil changes my car never ran thru 5 qts in a month.

I just read up on this post here. I know who worked on your car, which I figured is the IP coupe w/ the tinted windows and sevas wheels. PM me if you want to discuss this because I can ensure you it wasn't the dealership's fault. It is up to Infiniti's discretion to approve a warranty claim, not the dealership.
