Question Valve train g35?

Car: g35 coupe
Year: 2003
I am puting in a twin turbo greddy want to put a little more in the head. just for reforcement. I am going to use stock valve and stock cams.

What is better for my application?

JWT VQ35DE Valve Springs & Shim Kit VS Brian Crower springs / retainer kit

Also can any one explain why ones has shim and one doesn't? yes that a good thing or bad or each?

Also should i get this

Z1 Viton Valve Stem Seals Supposely they are stronger? any buddy use them in their engine build

why would you waste the time and money putting any of that stuff in and not change the cams? do you have any idea how hard it is to take the head apart?

A shim is use when your valve spring has shrunk. You put the shim between the head and spring to bring back the spring height and tension. So you mostly on use shims engine's with some wear.

If your going to put new shims. Making sure you use the right thickness to bring the spring back to spec.

I drove my 04 sedan (same exact motor) with a Greddy TT for a year before building the motor for more power.

If you are going to take off the heads just get new cams and do a valve job. But if you are going that far just build the bottom end too.

all depends on what your goals are.

alot of people use the brian crower stage 2s

I personally run the GTM turbo cams and have no problems
