Grounding wires install
Could anyone share with me an install instruction booklet? I'm even willing to pay for the copy. I would appreciate to get the one for 10 wires for AT. Thanks
Did you already bought the grounding upgrade, plan to buy one or plan to make one yourself? The reason I am asking is that if you want to buy one - it already comes with instructions. If you plan to make one, then installation instructions don't have the lengths I think. If you already bought one - then either wait for some one else to reply, or actually take grounding off and replace it with matching-length wires that came with the kit.
Do a search - there was one thread with self made grounding kit. I think the lengths would be the same a stock grounding wires - you can take one wire by one and replace then with new wires. Another thing I saw somewhere here is that grounding kit adds more wires and grounds more spots to each other.
Again do a search and you'll find a picture with bright red ground wires running, with engine cover off. From there you can pretty much spot where those wires go. Hope that helps.
Also remember - ground kit is nothing special - you can also design one with you own lengths and design. The purpose of the ground wires is to ground everything properly and reduce current differential between different ground spots.
Main spots can be located by taking stock ground wires off. And after that you can ground them together as well as ground more spots on chassis to the battery.
