How do i know if i have a HI-REV engine or a NON-REV
I have a 2005 g35 coupe 6mt. in my town people does not understand much of infinitis, its more STI's and Evo's. I ways wanted to know how can i find out id my car is a hi-rev or not. how do i do that. I had my car on a dynojet dyno and on the first pull i made 253.66 HP, on the second as the car got hotter made less HP. By the third pull it made 248.32 HP. i was not tunning the car. juts wanted to have an idea of what the car was pulling on at wheels. I talked to dave at function tuned and he said by the dyno results it looks like its a hi-rev. My mods are Headers, intake, and exhaust. no test pipes. Also my clutch burn soem time after and i had replaced with a stage 4 with modified spring to suit my daily driver so its not as bad. after that it seems that my car got weeker for some reason. did not put on the dyno yet to see.
so am I to understand that a 05 automatic g35 coupe is a non rev engine
and also I going to search around a little more but what are the differences between rev and non rev
n/m I kind of got the gist of it by reading some of the posts.
