Nissan/Infiniti techs: head work actually done?

My 2004 is at 56k and was originally purchased may 04. I just took it in becuz i found some oil in spark plug tubes. Dealer was supposed to replace heads. Well I popped the hood couple of lights down from dealer and checked out the coils and saw plenty of dust in there. I understand that it is highly unlikely that they did not perform the repairs but I would just like to be sure.
My question to any nissan/infinti tech is:
what can I look for to confirm that the dealer actually replaced the heads?

I dont think they would replace the whole head for oil in the spark plug socket, maybe a valve cover

Thanks for correction goblin...dealer probably just replaced valve covers and gaskets. I have had alot of bad experiences with mechanics in s. florida and even once at a dealer. Not really expecting it from a dealer but my warranty expires soon.

So is there anything I can look for along the valve covers that would be evidence of the repair?

see if its still leaking. if theres oil in the spark plug hole that goes into the head chances are they only replaced the valve cover gasket.

Not really. The only things there replace are the plug socket o-ring and gasket on the valve cover. If you're wondering if they did the fix, yank all the coils and look for oil.

pull the coils first to make sure they cleaned up the oil in the holes before you go driving it for another 200 miles..
