Help Differential ???'s

Lets start with I have a 2004 coupe 75,000 miles Automatic.
So my car took a crap and I believe its my differential.
I turn the car on and put it in gear and driveshaft turns but there is no movement in the wheels. Differential problem corerect???

So my ? is do I repair or replace the differential cause I dont have warranty and also are there any upgrades to my differential???
One mechanic told me to repair and repair with better parts is my best bet???
Other mechanic said buy a new differential cause repairing and looking for parts would be more money??? Or is he just being lazy??

Any opinions or helpful info. would be greatly appreciated...thanks.

If you drive hard enough to break your diff, I suggest you get an aftermarket and/or reinforced unit.

The funny thing is I dont drive it hard. I get on it every once and awhile but normal driving not like racing or anything of that sort.
I believe it gave out from the accident I had and maybe it threw it off.

Also my warranty is up 60,000...I am at 75,000.
