I visited the Nismo homepage and it seems like they are coming out with a new engine parts for the 350Z and the G35coupe. I will attempt to vaguely translate some of the info on that page to my best effor, although my Japanese is getting really rusty now...

The product is listed as S1(S-tune concept ENGINE Spec1) Engine Tuning Menu.

I don't know why but the parts are for AT only. Perhaps there will be another kit for MTs in the future. The price of the full kit will be around 900,000 Yen.

Again this was only my rough translation so if there are any of you who can really translate this news, I think a lot of us would be delighted to know. As for the question marks next to the listed parts, I really have no idea what they trasnlated to, soI just wrote down what it sounded like to me. Hope some of you understand what they are.

those cam shaft and ecu are where half the money is in

 

so how much hp will this add? 30? 40?.....80? for 9k it better put more than a SC

 

no way will it put as much power as a SC. but you can be sure these parts will last way longer than any FI setup. A NA engine is meant for NA. dont mess with it is my opinion. but regardless, 9K is a heck of a lot for 50 hp.

It does have some performace numbers on the website, which are in PS in stead of HP. So I am not sure how it ps translates into hp.

 

PS is very similar if not same as HP. J Spec cars are limited to 280PS, but in Gran Turismo 3 it is 276HP. Ive heard somewhere that this is what is translates to.

Nope, he's right. Techincally in Nissan terms, we have what they call an ECM. Same basic concept as an ECU.
