Want More Power !!!

Hey guys, I'm about to purchase tomorrow a '05 G35 Sedan, Black with 23k miles for $17,500, which will make me a bit broke, since my budget was $15,000. Anyways, can anyone suggest what I can do to the vehicle to make it faster for around $1,000. (Please let me know for example: Intake...which brand is average but good, and which is BEST!) Thanks in adavance.

If you've got an automatic get the Motordyne 5/16 isothermal plenum spacer

If you've got a manual get the plenum spacer and the MREV-2

I'm not being lazy, I just haver modified a car before, as ierd as it soundd , so I don't wanna spend everything on one thing when I can get a bunch of different things

p.s. Thanks "ricky", I'll check spacers out. Btw, will 10-20/30 extra HP be a noticeable difference?

Hp gains cost roughly $100 each and it takes ~~ 10-12 HP to reduce quarter mile by 0.1 seconds so your $1000 might improve things by 0.1 second.

The $1,000 might by 2 [3?] courses with text books at a local votech school in Automotive Technology, something that will be more useful in future than 0.1 seconds.
