Serious Fuel Smell....

all underhood connections have been looked at! Didn't know if anyone had the issue before... since this is oe of the many purposes of forums. As you know, many times someone will chime in and be like, "I had that exact same issue and it was THIS"... that's all I was shooting for, right?Had springs for 2 years, mate. Just don't have the funds anymore that 16niss members do... or hookups?
Just following up to see if you ever resolved the problem. I have had the same issue for a while, but only after just filling up or when tank is over 1/2 full. I assume it is the gasket. Anyone have a part # for it? I figure it should be a straight forward DIY.
Ok, I had this problem as well. It started after getting an oil change. The store I got the oil changed at recommended an air filter change when I dropped it off and I declined. When I picked up my 06 G35 sedan there was an atrocious fuel smell in the cabin. You couldn't even drive with the windows up. It turns out they checked the filter under the hood by the forced air induction and one of the bottom clips was not latched back into place. After jamming my giant hand down there and re-latching this clip, the smell disappeared within a few minutes.
