Always an excellant idea to pay dealer and tip technican in advance to FIND miniscule things they can charge Nissan to replace. Tell them you expect that they will find 3-5x the price of what you pay for inspection.

One time I paid $500 [cash] to totally test a transmission [per FSM] that subsequently failed these pressure tests and was replaced under warranty.

Usually when you visit dealer every 90 days they know you expect that they will find lots of warranty paid failures...............those that just show up rarely prior to warranty expiration and never pay for oil and services are ignored as much as possible.

Nissan always asked if you were a good/excellant customer and deserve extra consideration or were just a average or poor customer.

Remember warranty only pays for failures not about to fail things. Up to dealer to tell Nissan about failures they find.
