Oil in the spark plug gap

Putting in my new spark plugs and in the farthest cinlinder to the back on the drivers side had about two tablespoons of oil in it. Is this a sign of the oil consumption. BTW i have a 03 mt coupe

No it has nothing to do with the oil consumption. Your problem has to do with the valve covers. If you're under warranty you can get it replaced.

Idk, do you fill up your car with oil frequently? Does the engine make strange chatter noises? (not your clutch chatter)

I usually check it about every 1000 but its never been lacking coming out when i do the change. Even today i decided to check it right before i gave it an oil change and it was right at a little over halfway mark. There wasnt alot of oil in the spark plug tunnel. I am hoping this is an easy fix ima call the stealership tomorrow and talk to them because i have 800 miles until the warranty runs out.

yeah do that, they should replace your valve covers for free (which i think is like an $800 fix)

i believe there is a TSB for this

According to the Hayne's Repair Manual for Nissan-Infiniti 350Z and G35 03-08 oil in the spark plug area is caused by poor oil control. Oil is leaking past worn valve guides or piston rings into the combustion chamber. Causes hard starting, misfires and hesitation. Just ran across that info the other day. For what its worth.
