wow... i will have a simular setup by the end of the year... doing a mod a month... just did jdm clear corners... the torque damper is next... then a spacer... then a strut bar... then so on...

i want 06 OEM g35x brakes... that might come before the spacer... depending on what happens at my 30k service... im going to inquire about doing the "brake upgrade" and timing advance.

im like you in that i want my engine right before i do major visual mods like rims... i dont want to look fast/sporty i want to be it first...

wow, i dont consider a new final drive a bolt on, but congrats on everything. Now in theory wouldnt a nice single turbo setup be bolt on? lol just kidding. ill be there someday. gotta convince wifey to let me spend some money on my car after all, she just bought a new one.

Why is a new final drive not bolt on?

overall changes up the gearing on your car. I think it increases overall accleration but lowers top speed.

Correct...that still provides no explanation as to why you don't consider it to be a bolt-on mod.

it is a bolt on mod, but it is kinda hard to put it on, so its a harder bolt on mod

It's a BPU+ mod. Nuff said.

BPU stands for Bolt-on Parts Upgrade. Term thrown around in the Supra world for anyone who was going to ask lol.

APU is Advanced Parts Upgrade. This is the equivalent of Forced Induction, Nitrous, or other huge mods.

Sure did. 1990 Turbo Targa Automatic (boooo). I absolutely loved that car, and wish I had never gotten rid of it. I'd buy another one in a heartbeat if I had teh space for it
