Without getting into details, it's got more HP (but less torque) than then non-Rev up engine and redline is 600 RPM higher on Rev Ups. For sedans, Rev Ups are on the 05-06 6MTs only, so it wouldn't be on your '04.

So would getting the motordyne MREV 2 along with a motordyne plenum spacer be pointless?

It's not pointless, you just don't see the same kind of gains from the MREV2 as rev-up engines do.

the gains are similar if you get a tune afterwards. But i wouldnt recommend getting a tune until you have all or most of your mods done. EI: Exhaust, High Flow Cats or Test Pipes, Intake, MREV2, spacer, headers (if you opt for headers)

Did you read the sticky since you started this thread in the 03-06 sedan section?

Q - What is the REVUP, and do I have it?
The REVUP engine is included in 05/06 6MT (manual) sedans. The REVUP engine redlines at 7000 rpms, versus the standard redline of 6600. The REVUP includes variable timing on the exhaust cams in addition to the intake cams, as well as different timing/fuel maps in the ECU.
