As long as they don't blink like a turn signal I think you can use them. Some cops are more **** about it in some states verses others. I've never gotten hassled for it.

PIAA makes some great Xtreme white bulbs for the corners. That's what I use in my markers and verticals

agreed. as long as they aren't used as turn signals, you can have white: clearing strip and side marker.

PIAA Xtreme White 192 Wedge Bulb will do the trick.

There was a post that i'm having trouble finding that has to do with the Xtreme being a little blue. i can't quite remember off the top of my head who, but they used a different bulb (still a PIAA) to get it completely white.

hope this helps.

If you want to do it on the cheap. The bulbs that are in you original amber corners are clear. Simple put your old bulbs in the new clear corners, and you'll have clear corners with clear bulbs. Wont look as fancy as the other suggestions shown above, but the price is right. BTW, I have clears and left the original amber bulbs in them. Why draw attention to your self? I read the law awhile ago, and as I remember, the light does have to be amber, and the lense must have an amber reflector in it. Look at your old corner, you'll see a reflector. The clear has no reflector.

Re: clear corners....can i get clear bulbs tho!?

i didnt read that link yet.... or look at anything except everyone's posts... could u put prices with ur suggestions...also if there are some auto stores that i could buy these at please put em down. There is an "infiniti, subaru, mitsubishi performance" shop about a mile away that i havent stopped in yet.... i dont know how it is but it doesnt look too great. If its a specialized part for my car they may have it tho. If its just something i could pic up at like autozone tho.... taht would be cool too. Just let me know plz

and to the guy who lowrider.... im almost 100% sure that ur post is inaccurate. Correct me if im wrong (because i kinda hope i am lol) but i dont think that there is a way to make them clear with the stock bulbs. Im pretty sure that the actual bulb is yellow. The corners just pop off and unscrew from the stock corners. The stock bulb is used with clear corners.

Nope - The stock amber corners come with clear bulbs, and the clear corners come with amber bulbs. The corners come complete with the bulb and socket. To remove the socket to change the bulb, it twists out. The stock bulb and socket is not reused with the clear corners.

the clear bulbs that come with the stock corner lights dont look good IMO. they looks tacky at nigh although they do macth with the verticals. i have them on right now. i switched the bulbs from my stock to my clears. I think white bulbs look MUCH better. im going to switch to white bulbs soon. when i can haul my lazy a$$ to autozone. btw, how do you change the vertical bulbs. is there a DIY? btw. i dont understand what you said about not using them as turn signals. How can you not use them as turn signals? lol i never really looked, but is the orange in our headlight a turn signal too? and is that why the corners dont have to be orange?

Re: clear corners....can i get clear bulbs tho!?

u can mod them into blinkers.... i think THAT is in the DIY... i know i read it on this site somewhere. NO they dont flash stock tho u have to do some moddin to get em to do that. My clear corners from Everythingg35.com were just little plastic replacements and all i had to do to install was twist out the stock ambers and twist on the clear corners..... should they have come with bulbs?

when i got them i just popped off the stock ambers... twisted em counter clockwise till there was just a bulb hanging there... and then i twisted on my clear corners.... Im about to go look at em tho and see if i have down syndrome or something...
*maybe this is why they are 40 dollars on everythingg35.com instead of 70 like they are everywhere else????*

Re: clear corners....can i get clear bulbs tho!?

correct me if i'm wrong, but aren't the JDM clear corner wedge blubs? thus no twisting involved when replacing the amber bulbs.

you need to place amber bulbs with the clear corners if you decide to do the blinker mod.

Re: clear corners....can i get clear bulbs tho!?

the clear corners from everythingg35.com are the actual jdm nissan corners.. it came in a nissan box with actual part numbers.. it comes with the corners, bulbs, as well as the base.. if it was a generic aftermarket corner it would not come with a base.. the bulbs itself are wedge buls, and yes you pull those out of the base to change them. But you have to twist the base to get it out of the corners.. i think white leds would look best in those corners.. in terms of the legality of turn signals.. this is what the california vehicle code says

24953. (a) Any turn signal system used to give a signal of
intention to turn right or left shall project a flashing white or
amber light visible to the front and a flashing red or amber light
visible to the rear.

Re: clear corners....can i get clear bulbs tho!?

Doesn't each state have different laws pertaining to this? I'd like to get some clears bulbs in my corners at night. Why? Because it just looks better than the amber, especially with the xenons we have.

What exactly is the law on this? Possible we can have a cop give us some insight? I was always under the impression that the front light had to blink amber (it could be clear but had to blink amber) but the side marker could be any color? At least that is what i thought. Also if anyone has any recommendations as far as the bulb goes with a part # or SKU from a particular store, that would be very helpful.

Thanks.
