Help..check engine light
I installed my injen cai today and the check engine light went on. Does anyone know why its on or what i can do to make it turn off? There doesnt seem to be anything wrong with the car cuz its pulling like crazy.

Re: Help..check engine light
An intake performance increase should be equivalent to this scenario...
Before you have the intake is similar to driving with a light weight passenger.
After you install the intake it should be similar to driving without that light weight passenger in the car.
If you've noticed more gains than what I've just described then you probably have a problem with your MAF sensor. It could be a number of things, like you're running leaner/richer than before, there are aliens in your engine bay making your car run faster, you're nuts , etc...
You could try to reset the ECU, but I'm not too much of a believer in that, especially with the 6MT's. I bet the light will go off pretty soon.
Oh, did you turn the car on without the MAF sensor hooked up? That would definitely make your dash light up.
