New battery installed, engine stalls @ start-up
I was getting the oil changed at NTB, as I had a coupon for that, as well as $ off for a new battery, so I finally got a new battery (104k miles on my original). It was only $10 more for them to install the battery, so I had them do it. Had the work done on Saturday & ever since, my car now stalls at startup. I need to give it a little throttle to keep it from stalling & then I'm good to go.
Is it possible they installed the wrong battery & can this be causing this?....or is it just coincidence? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Secondly....please stop taking your car to NTB. They're a bunch of wrench monkeys (for the most part), and the have a habit of doing things that are unnecessary.
Just about anywhere other than NTB or Jiffy Lube types of places are worth going to. Try to find a mechanic you can trust.

I agree with this. Usually when your car does that, first thing you should check is the MAF.

See the link below i posted a while back. Same problem with me. After changing the battery, the car stalls on warm start.
It seems like many people had the same issue after they changed the battery also. i did all the ECU reset, learning etc (before the cleaning) and it still stalled. It went away only after i cleaned the throttle body (wasn't at all dirty) and did all the ECU reset, learning stuff again.
i still have no idea why the problem went away after I cleaned the throttle body. The car was starting fine before the battery got changed.

Wow, what a bunch of mature jokesters. Why do you care if I spent $10 for them to do it...it was a convenience. I'm married, 2 kids & have a hectic schedule. I've changed batteries on my past cars & just did my wife's car a month ago.
only $10 for a battery change is a good deal imo. Come on guys, think about it, he was not taking his car to NTB just for a battery change. He took his car there for oil change, and since they offered him a discount, he got his battery changed as well.
