Re: HELP...blinker is blinking really fast

check to see if your filament is out in the turn signal bulb....most cars blink fast as a sign the bulb is burnt out

Re: HELP...blinker is blinking really fast

what moog said... i havent had one go out on my g, but i used to drive a suburban and my right blinker went out twice and it would start blinking insanly fast. Turn on ur blinker and get out and actually look at it (front and rear)

i thought it would be that too, but all my bulbs are working fine...

maybe if i disconnected my battery it would reset it, cause i recently disconnected my headlights?

Re: HELP...blinker is blinking really fast

Maybe, but have someone watch to make sure ALL of your rear bulbs are good on that side. If they are, grab replacement bulbs and stick them in your glove box. One of the bulbs is about to go. Just had this happen on another car of mine. Started flashing fast but bulb must have been working internittently still. Totally burned out within a day or two.

Re: HELP...blinker is blinking really fast

they blink faster not because it was designed like this, but because its the laws of physics (electricity that is)... if you put a smaller wattage bulb, or no bulb at all, it will blink faster... i intentionally did this on my old toyota!

Re: HELP...blinker is blinking really fast

Everyone is probably correct about the bulb.
I do know that if you've added more current draw or load on the circuit, it'll also blink faster. My experience is that if you wire a car for a trailer and plug in the trailer lights, the signals will blink faster. If that happens with a trailer, then I go to NAPA and get a heavy duty flasher module for a few bucks $ and plug it in. There's a slim chance that something similar is going on.
