Did Search, Cant find anything Usefull.. Ichiba or Long Tube Header Question

Anyone other than trey have these???? I need to get headers, its all that is left for me to do ( that i can afford at the moment ) other than my tune which is scheduled for April 9th in MD... I am in NY and they are the closest orisis tuner from what I know of.

I want to buy a set of headers, ichiba or one of the many knockoffs sold around here and on ebay unless there is a substantial difference in quality of a slightly higher priced header set.

It’s between the ichiba or Meghan Long tubes.... The long tubes scare me a little bit but are very tempting at there crazy low price of sub 400 dollars. The ichibas are sub 300 so they are "cheap" as well. Reading over Trey Hutchxxxx posts I have not seen him talk down on his headers and his car does good things so on that alone I’m leaning towards ichiba.. It’s funny but its really the only thing I’ve read on this forum. Z site has info but imo the level of intelligence is much better here...

My evo2 exhaust i just installed is much quiter than my nismo was and its making me want to put some headers on the car now.. Without Test pipes the nismo was the perfect exhaust, The evo2 is almost silent in the cabin (with test pipes) while driven lightly where the nismo was obnoxious regardless of the rpm with TP installed, without tp the nismo sounded PERFECT. I could only imagine how loud the car would be with nismo with longtubes. Would sound SICK dont get me wrong but people would know you are coming from 1/2 mile away.

Im leaning towards the ichibas right now but any opinion would be great....

If i could get a set of crawfords for under 1000 i would just get those but havent seemed to find them any less than msrp.

I have Crawfords along with his HFCs. I like them.

I would wait if you can't afford the Crawfords now, unless you are going to install them yourself and avoid any labor charges.

Sasha is working on a good set of long tubes, but it will be a while and they will be even more expensive.

yea saw his , they look top-notch... but the price tag seems a little steep even if it drops 40 percent or so..

I am now leaning towards strup after reading many good words on them... im just curious how much I am really going to gain since my dyno already seems pretty damn high...

it seems realistic that with the strup headers and uprev tune i should gain the 12hp i want to get to 270whp, I am going to let them do a custom tune so im hoping for even higher..

with drag radials at the track I honestly dont think i will have a problem hitting a mid 13 second pass..

i did a 13.7 @ 105 on dynolicious software for iphone, not that you can trust that, but with how the car performs against other vehicles it seems very possible .... i dont understand the high times in the top 1/4 mile lists though...

i would almost be shocked if i didnt run atleast a 13.5 with the headers and tune... which is good for top 5 on this site ... my coupe has 100k miles too... my tq in 5th gear on the dyno was 264 if headers give me 10 more thats prob the highest tq number ive seen from a VQ 03-04 without internals or cams... I cant wait until april 9th, my pocket certainly is going to take a hit though for this last few hp
