Re: HP gains
Not sure what you want the grounding kit to do. Though I found some gains on the dyno, I'd say that any mod, whether it's grounding, and intake, exhaust, etc. that provides a 5, 10 or even 15 HP gain, you won't feel it in your butt dyno, and would be hard pressed to measure it consistently, even on the track.
What is typically reported with grounding kits is better throttle response, (even by some skeptics) that can't be explained by a simple HP or TQ gain, and smoothness in the engine. With some cars and grounding kits, it can also help with AT shifting. Others report more stable idle, etc., as well as a few odd benefits that I have no explanation for and so am skeptical of.
There is a lot of feedback (mostly from members here) on the Hyper-Ground FAQ Thread. Of course, you can also wade through the H-G Monster Thread if you are so inclined.
There are a few ppl that have tried H-G kits and noticed ABSOLUTELY Nothing and just as many ppl that report their family members that didn't know anything was done to the cars saying things had changed for the better.
If you're looking for big HP & TQ gains, then the grounding kits aren't going to do it for you. IMO, intakes and exhausts may not either. The sure boost will be from a supercharger or turbo.
