1st. Kenny Brown Performance G35 Build

Car build Starts this week!

Vortech S/C - Borla header and catback - KW Inox V3 coilovers - Lowered 1 inch - B&W short shifter.

Mine will be the first G35 "build" done by Kenny Brown Performance here in Indy. They just completed their first Z-Car. It dyno'd at 288 at the crank before the vortech and 464.2 after.

Will post dyno info. when I pick it up.

Can't wait until the Porsche Club track day on the 25th. at Putnam Park

Why don't you just call it MCline modded?

Kenny is known for his "suspension magic". Since he is doing the tuning, I think it appropriate that he get the "credit" for the mod. :-)

Sounds more like a Kenny Brown install not build. Sorry but nothing impressive here when he's just using other manufacturers products which has been installed in many G35's already.

Geez guys, what's with the saltiness?!?! The guy is just excited, why must you rain on his parade?!

Anyway...man that sounds like you will have one sweet setup Mcline! I'm looking forward to hearing some of those dyno numbers and of course seeing some pics! I'm too big of a wuss to slap FI onto my car so I have to live vicariously through people on this board. hehe

Re: 1st. Kenny Brown Performance G35 Build

He is world renowned for his experience, reputation, customer care, and more, especially on domestic cars. In total, this provides the customer with "piece of mind" that might not be available at many shops.

With quality of work and tuning expertise being so important on a job of this dollar amount, I thought members might find it interesting that he is now doing work on cars other than domestics.

Not trying to impress at all, just provide information.

Unfortunately, everytime I read a post like yours, I can see buzzards gathering overhead... And that stuff falling on your parade is not rain.

I'm glad for you. Let us know how the install turns out. Don't mind the buzzards...

McCline:

Never heard of Kenny Brown, but then again, he's never heard of me, either ! What's important is that you are getting the mods you want, installed by someone you trust, and who has a reputation for customer service and satisfaction.

Your typo regarding "piece" of mind (instead of "peace" of mind) might be correct before it's over, as in you'll give someone here a "piece" of your mind, if they don't chill out on the negativity.

I, for one, am jealous of your mods, but won't flame you for trying, however they work out. It's all the "modders" who have gone before that pave the way for more effective use of mods by the rest of us in the future (thank you GurgenPB, Catatafish, Neffster, et.al.) Good luck, and keep us posted.

dbarnes

Kenny Brown was know for his mods done back in the early 90's to several domestic brands. I believe he did Buick GN/Turbo Regals, Mustangs, etc.

MCline

Ignore the "haters." If all of us could afford to have someone like KB do our FI, suspension, etc. installation, we would all sleep better at night, knowing that a quality shop did the installation.

Post some pics when it's done.
