Exclamation HELP !! Oil found in cylinder #2 and oil deposit found on ALL 6 plugs. Now what...

so i took out my old spark plugs to day and found all 6 of them has oil deposit on it as shown in picture. on the top of that, i also found oil pooling after removing coil pack over in cylinder #2 but not any of the others. I've read the sticky thread and the guy was talking about cylinder #6 getting oil leakage. are we on the same problem?

i have only 39k mileage on my car. full warranty still valid til Dec. 2009.

You are covered 6 yr 70K miles with powertrain and this is power train.

Go get the valve covers replaced under warranty.

I would just take it to the dealer. They'll fix it for free and they will put you in a fly loaner for a day. My dealer doesn't charge for the loaner either.

I did the valve covers myself. You have to remove the intake, upper plenum, lower plenum and then you have access to the valve covers. I painted my new covers before install.

The passenger side valve cover was much harder than the drivers side because of the coolant rail.

All in all it took me like 4-5 hours. I'd give it a 3 of 5 on the wrench category.

You can check out here for any OEM infiniti part that you need (http://www.infinitipartsusa.com).

But I did the search for you and here's a link to the valve covers. They are about $200 each and all you really need from what I have read is gasket for the spark plug tube. If this is the case I hope infiniti gets their act together and start to sell these separately.

Valve covers are easy to swap out. I have taken mine off a few times.

When I changed my plugs I found a pool of oil on the cylinder closest to driver on the passenger side. It sucks cause I don't have warranty and need to get a new cover. Anyone know how long I would be able to drive it for?
