does anyone have a trick on how to reset airbag light on dash after removing seat and then turning on ignition when seat was unplugged, opps

thank god for that post. I install the video switcher last week and that damn light came on. My girlfriend was impressed that we can now watch dvds on the nav screen but concerned that airbags might not work. I was a little bit embarassed and was dreading my upcoming 30k tune up at the dealership, wondering what to tell them.

You are the MAN! I've gone around for 2 wks with that stupid flashing light after disconnecting my airbag when removing the glove compartment to do that Nav mod where a switch interrupts the GPS so you can program it while moving. I thought I was going to have to take it to the dealer, 100 miles away. Thanks a lot, guys!

guys my airbag light has been blinking for a month like that, ive tried that faq and also resetting the ecu... both to no avail.

It started blinking when i disconnected the airbag wire in the passenger side to install a new Gordgee in-cabin air-filter.

Any suggestions? [img]/w3timages/icons/frown.gif[/img]
I checked the wire again and it is plugged in fully.

HOW many times did you guys Turn the key to ON/OFF? 3? 4? 5? Exactly how many seconds do you wait between ON/OFF? How long do you wait before Turning to ON again?

Yeah, that's much clearer! Useful for those that need to do the reset. Never had to do it myself yet, so sorry I couldn't help.
