I have an early 03 sedan so there is no plug and play piggyback available for me. Since I have to cut the wiring harness anyways, then does it matter what "version" of the utec I get? I can get a one from an STI for $300.

There is plug n play harness that u can buy but if u have the ***** to hack into your oem engine harness then go for it. The UTEC is universal so any car can use them.

Or u can buy my Greddy EU with plug n play harness for 450 + shipping and anyone can tune that

 

My car is an early 03 sedan so as far as I have seen there is no plug and play harness for it...unless it's for another model or something. It seems I have to cut the harness anyways so I might as well.
