engine knock

at idle, i hear some knocking in my engine. is this normal? thinking about taking it in before the warranty is up...

Knocking is never normal. But Nissan motors are known for not being smooth/silent when compared to other Japanese makes.

Take it to the dealer and let them deal with it.

What fuel have u been using?

91 octane, its not the sound of detonation. its just a random knock every once in a while. and yes, its full of oil, 5w30 pennzoil plat.

it goes away when just a little throttle is given
