No pics, but I made the steps much shorter so the ramp would'nt be 10ft long and 200lbs. It still weighs a ton, but man are they solid. I love the clearance!

If you build ramps using 2x10's or 2x12's all bolted together, you can get a minimum of 6 inches of lift, even 7.5 inches of lift. That's what I did.

Same here Mobil 1 - 5W30 and Mobil 1 filter. Cut 2x8s about two feet long as ramps to my metal ramps. Worked perfect. 2005 model had hole for filter and plug ,saved me 20 mins from utube video! 21000 mile I'll wait on rear diff change.

Mines is 2005 and I don't see any hole for filter/plug (unless I wasn't paying attention). I have to unscrew the splash cover each time. I think the 2003/2004's have them???

I went with non-directional 215/55R17 Falken ZE-329. I was pretty pleased with them from early December through late March. They're much better than the Avon M550s I had. The 329 showed good wear, soft ride, and pretty decent handling. I also set my alignment to max toe-in to fit the feathering problem. That seemed to really help.

That's what I bought as well. 3 bottles of mobile 1 gear oil (about 1.5qt for the rear and 1 qt for the front). I thought you wanted to get the Red Line. The rear left alot of gunk on the drain plug. The front is not nearly as dirty as the rear.

As for the transfer case, if you want to torque everything to spec then jack the car higher off the ground otherwise you won't have room to use the torque wrench. The transfer case is one tough cookie. Not sure if I want to do it myself next time. Then again, I won't need to look at it probably for another 2 or 3 yrs. I only put about 6,000 miles a year.

from that picture, i jack up my car a LOT higher then you for the rear diff.

I was going to redline but i picked up 3 bottles of mobil 1 for $23. too great of a deal to pass. I might order redline ATF for the trans case and then get some 75w90 as well.

I thought you said you didn't do the rear diff yet? Yes, I jacked up the car on the lowest setting. The jack stands are low to begin with 10.5 inches I think. I tried to do all my work with the lowest settings on the jack (for safety). Actually, I think I could of done the rear diff with the car on the ground. Just looked at the jack stands on the side pinch weld. The ones placed in the back under the suspension probably doesn't do much but I just throw it in there for added safety.

That hole is mighty small on my 03, so I always take that cover off, anyway, only takes a few minutes with a cordless drill or ratchet and makes the job cleaner and easier.

Oh...you have z suspension on your x so you'll definitely need to raise it higher. My suspension is stock. At one point I did have unrevised z springs on my x and also bought coupe springs to swap the rear but it never happened and I went back to stock.

So you are riding on z spring/shocks in front and coupe springs/oem shock on rear? How are the rear shocks holding up?

Wow...and you running stagger on your x as well.

They should make it with less nuts and at least make it easier to take off. I use cordless drill as well but since I don't jack up my car high, I always have a hard time getting the nuts off towards the end of the splash shield.
