Does intakes really give better gas millage? Which ones are the ones that give better gas miles. Too many people are telling me 2 different stories so i need someone that knows alot about intakes so i can understand what i need to do to my Gcoupe

 

Theoretically they do, but when you mash on the gas pedal its addicting,,,

Nothing you do to the intake will help your gas mileage.

If you are worried about gas mileage, drive with a light foot and coast a lot.

Or buy a Prius or a diesel instead.

I dosents knows but sometime i get gas milage when i dont drive my car as hard or sometimes i drive on the highway instead of the streets around my house but if you find intakes that gives better gas milage i would like too know.

 

i was getting 14 mpg before my ztube+pc and now i get ~18mpg... btw i redline through 1st and 2nd pretty regularly and get on the gas hardcore most of the time.

The G35 is just not a "gas mileage" kind of car. Overall, it gets about 20 mpg and that's it. You'll get a little less around town and a little more on the highway. If you install mods, your gas mileage will go DOWN, not up. The more fun the car is to drive, the more fun driving you will do, and don't bother telling yourself ahead of time that you won't!

The G is a driver's car, don't detract from it by even calculating gas mileage! Gas mileage records are for Avalon owners.

I've found that my G35 has absolutely the lowest gas consumption when it's in the garage - but then ...

 

all i know is what MY experience showed.... i got better gas milage immediately after installing my intake. I do nothing but residential driving (VERY little freeway driving involved) and i get at least 2-3 mpg more per tank now that i have ztube/p/c combo.
