No FTSB???

Coming from a Maxima, a FTSB has always been known to show huge benefits over stock when it comes to handling. Just curious why no one here (not that I read anywhere anyways) has looked into this. Obviously the Z comes standard with one, and with our longer wheelbase, it'd seem to me to benefit us more. I know the stock setup doesn't seemed to allow room for one, but with some of the other mods folks are doing, I'm surprised one hasn't been adapted. Enlighten me please!!!

Re: No FTSB???

do you mean a strut bar? the G cant have a front one unless you relocate some of the A/C lines that are in the way....

I read somewhere that the Z's body wasnt as stiff as the G's and so they had to put on the strut bars... something about hatchbacks and not being a true-coupe design...

I was on maxima.org, but was too active. Didn't post much. I had a 99 SE-L.

Re: No FTSB???

This subject has been discussed at length on this board. Someone
did a detailed investigation and determined that it is next to impossible.
Our G's really don't need one. Infiniti saw to it that we cannot put one
on. Those Bast*rds!

Re: No FTSB???

One thing to keep in mind with a FTSB is that if you get lightly smacked in the front side, you entire front end will get shifted over which leads to a costlier repair. I found this out the hard way with a fox body Mustang.
