Help engine problem

Ok here's the story a couple of monthS ago I experienced a major power loss to the wheels I took it to a local shop and they pulled up the code which I forgot btw...basically the mechanic said my ignition coils were fried and one of the pistons wasn't firing. So he told me that he can replaced it which he did and put new spark plugs. It was running fine since then now today it happened again and it's just frustrating....I wanted to know if anyone on here is experiencing the same problem and if any of u car experts pitch in ur 2 cents....sorry if I can't explain the problem in complete detail Im still a noob I appreciate any input....TIA

Thats a very unique problem. I've heard of ignition coils going bad...but that is usually do to wiring issues from what people have done.

Maybe a tech will chime in....
