Motordyne 5/16 vs. AAM angled spacer

Motordyne 5/16 vs. AAM angled spacer

I am looking into getting an AAM angled plenum spacer from my friend for 150, although, I don't know if I should get that or a Motordyne 5/16 spacer. Can anyone tell me which on is better and why?

I dont like AAM stuff...thats just me. I am also a huge advocate of anything that tony has made or will make. Its top notch quality.

Supposedly the angled spacer is better because it equalizes flow to the far intake runners. Also, it's more difficult to manufacture an angled spacer of that size which is why you don't see others out there. Personally, I'd go with the angled especially since you're able to get it cheaper. Plus, you can keep your stock engine cover with the angled spacer (not sure about the 5/8 or not).

5/16 not 5/8... MD doesn't make a 5/8

I know there was a plenum spacer shootout. Motordyne won that...but i'm not sure if the AAM was out at the time.

This chart revealing the delta K explains it the most clear. The angled unit is orange. I'll pass.

I just got my motordyne 5/16 copper spacer installed

its a night and day difference
