Vacuum lines Vortech

Over the past week or so during the Texas heat I have been noticing boost fluctuations near red line. I mainly contributed this to the heat (95-99 during the day). Yesterday I opened the hood to examine some of the vacuum connections and discovered that the Vortech provided lines were very mushy almost to the point of collapse. After discovering this I headed to the auto parts store and purchased fuel grade lines with the same inner diameter (much thicker). I replaced all the Vortech supplied lines leading to all devices. After completing the replacement my boost seems Much more stable during the heat. Has anyone else experienced this problem>
