I am planning on rebuilding my motor which has a bad OC problem. I am new to all this stuff and was wondering what are the main internals that need to be changed to get rid of this OC problem? Im not looking to go FI anytime soon so im looking for a mild rebuild. Nothing too fancy. Just enough to get rid of the OC problem.

The result of a leakdown will answer that question (mostly). Without a leakdown, it's anyone's guess.

 

Another thing, you can send a sample of oil to blackstone and they can tell you what parts of your motor are worn based on the materials they find in the oil.

 

Thats a good idea. After i get the compression/leakdown test down I will ask Chris about sending a sample to Blackstone.
