Ok so yeah... I am 6' 5" and I cannot really find a comfortable positionin the G35 without my head practically being through the sunroof. What can I do?!?!? I want to lower the seat but keep the original seats. Is that possible. If not what should i do cause i just traded my car in to get this i dont want to have to do that again!

i feel for ya. I'm 6'4" and had to get a car with no sunroof for that exact reason. I fit in nicely.

Im 6,2 and have the body of a 6,5 person and legs of a 5,10 person....lol..... My head hits the roof all the time . Got to lean back . Try putting a helmet on with that sun roof.....got to lean wayyyyyyyy back

Same here... In Canada, you can not get a G35 Coupe without a sunroof, so I had to get it. It's not as bad as when I test-drove it before buying. After a while, you kinda settle down in the seat and the probalem is not as bad.

i'm 6'4" and have to put the seat pretty far back but i manage to fit. the sunroof doesnt cause any problems for me either.

Yeah - I"m 6'4" and can sympathize. It takes me forever to find a comfortable position, but with dilligence, I get there. Leaning back is part of the solution. At some point, I hope somebody comes up with an alternate seat setup for tall people. It would take a lot of effort, but presumably, an alternate mount could be made for the seat that was chopped or something...anything to make it better for us pituitary cases.

I'm 6'5" as well, and I have no prob with the sunroof, but my leaned back 'low rider' position is necessary to achieve comfort.

Has anyone moved the seat rails backwards when doing the TSB for the rails???

I feel sorry for you guys, I'm just over 6' and was glad I didn't get the sunroof after the loaner that I got had one. It was really cramping my style.

 

Well my plan is that I am calling a place today that does custom interior jobs and seeing if they have a way they can lower the seat but keep the originals in. if not im going to order custom seats for the car. were talking all black with red infiniti sign and logo... mmmmmmm

 

what about buying 350Z seats? I thought those are perfect match.
